Materials Testing

Elite’s materials tester is the United SFM-100KN tensile testing machine. It is equipped for tension/compression testing on various types of material including ceramics, plastics, polymers, metals and composites.  The United system is also used for ultimate strength evaluations and fatigue testing.

With recent modifications, the tensile test system can apply loads at temperatures that range from -40C to +85C.  (Note: contact Elite for greater temp extremes -100C to +200C).

Typical tensile properties testing follow ISO 527, ASTM D638, or ASTM 790 and Elite is equipped to conduct all tests per these methods.  We are equipped for these and many other unique services for materials testing. Contact the Elite sales department for more information.

Connector & Electrical Contact Testing

When it comes to the accurate and repeatable evaluation of electrical connector performance, Elite has the equipment and expertise to provide the results.  Elite can test the connector assembly, cable/connector interface and connector/contact interface.
