New HALT Chamber Technology Now at Elite

Elite is proud to announce it has upgraded its HALT chamber with the latest in repetitive shock "RS" vibration table technology from Thermotron Industries. The new Thermotron EXTREME AST HALT chamber is a breakthrough in HALT and will help Elite to quickly and efficiently identify failure modes on client products.
Since its first application over 20 years ago, HALT with 6-axis repetitive shock vibration has become an accepted and integral part of the design process for electronic and electrical systems. HALT techniques have helped manufacturers gain a competitive edge by identifying weaknesses and latent defects, which once corrected, improve mechanical and thermal robustness and increase product reliability and life.
The unique features of this new RS vibration table include:
- Vibration levels in excess of 100Grms
- Peak accelerations exceeding 1,500Gpk (applied in six axes simultaneously)
- Greater energy content at lower frequencies
- More broadband random rather than "picket-fence" response
- Synchronized shock mode with shock pulses up to 1,500Gs-pk from 1Hz-23Hz.
