Tensile Testing Now Performed at High and Low Temperatures.

Elite’s new materials tester is the United SFM-100KN tensile testing machine. It is equipped for tension/compression testing on various types of material including ceramics, plastics, polymers, metals and composites. The United system is also used for fatigue testing andis commonly called upon to evaluate connector pairs for insertion/extraction capabilities.
With recent modifications, the tensile test system can apply loads at temperatures that range from -40C to +85C. (Note: contact Elite for greater temp extremes -100C to +200C).
Typical tensile properties testing follow ISO 527 and ASTM D638 and ASTM 790 and Elite is equipped to conduct all tests. We have many more details on our capabilities, so contact the Elite sales department for more information.
