Altitude and Icing Capabilities Expand at Elite

With the increased demand for altitude and ice enviroment testing, Elite has just added a new atltitude chamber.  Our new Thermotron chamber is has interior chamber dimensions are of 48” x 48” x 48” and is capable of simulating temperatures that range from -77C to +177C and producing high altitude atmoshperes up to 100,000 feet.  Typical tests include those from RTCA DO-160 Sections 4 and 5 for temerature/altitude variations and Section 24 for icing, as well as from MIL-STD-810 Method 500, and certain SAE specifications.
