About Room 24
Room 24 is a reverberation chamber used for Mode Tuning or Mode Stirring RF immunity testing. This type of chamber is specified by several automotive OEMs as the preferred radiated susceptibility test methodology. For automotive electronic components, this chamber is configured for EMC testing in accordance with ISO 11452-11. Immunity field strengths are typically run from 30V/m up to 600V/m.
This room is also configurable for Bulk Current Injection (BCI) testing following ISO 11452-4. Testing is performed on an 8′ x 2.5′ ground plane.
