Elite’s laboratories contain facilities and equipment that need special safety precautions. Please check the safety requirements below to prepare for your visit and make sure a safe experience:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Visitors must follow posted signs and verbal instructions about the use of PPE. Elite provides eye and ear protection for laboratory areas where required.
- Apparel: Visitors working in the lab shall wear long pants, shoes that cover the entire foot, and proper attire for protection in the thermal chambers and bench areas. Steel-toe shoes are not required.
- Tool and Machine Shop: Only Elite staff may run machinery in the tool and machine shop areas.
- Test Setups and Disassembly: Only Elite staff may make/break connections at power sources and assemble/disassemble test setups and equipment configurations.
