- MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-1399 Power standards
- LRU, Components, Equipment, and Whole Vehicles
- High Field Radiated Susceptibility, Lightning & EMP
- Power Systems Testing – 115VAC/400Hz, up to 1500VDC
- MIL-STD-461 EMC and MIL-STD-810 Environmental Stress at One Location.
MIL-STD-461
Qualification testing requirement for electrical and electronic equipment used by the US military. It is also widely adopted or referenced by others such as NATO and the European Defense Agency as their military qualification standard. Introduced in 1967, it has adapted to technology and evolved to the current revision MIL-STD-461G.
MIL-STD-461 includes test methods and performance requirements for Conducted Emissions, Conducted Susceptibility, Radiated Emissions, and Radiated Susceptibility tailored for specific military applications – including Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Field (HIRF) and Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) requirements.
MIL-STD-704
Standard and guidance documents (MIL-HDBK-704) for aviation electric power systems. They define a series of tests to evaluate the operation of equipment powered at 115VAC/400Hz, 28VDC, or 270VDC. The tests include a wide range of voltage variations such as dips, drops, sags, ripple, in both transient and steady-state conditions.
MIL-STD-1275
Standard that describes characteristics of 28 volt DC electrical systems in military vehicles. It establishes the specifications for the power supply to vehicle electronics. It also defines tests that evaluate transient emissions exported by vehicle equipment and the susceptibility of vehicle systems to imported surges and spikes.
MIL-STD-1399
Shipboard Systems standard for AC and DC power sources. It includes tests applied to equipment installed on ships to ensure they operate reliably and unaffected by variations in the supplied ship power.
